Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.\n Life in this role\nAs part of our Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Engagement coordinator on a full time 12 month Fixed-term contract basis.\nSalary: £36,000-£38,500 dependent on experience\nShift: Monday - Friday (days), 6:00am-14:30pm\nThe Engagement Coordinator is to support the Senior Leadership Team regarding engagement and retention for both new and existing colleagues. You will be involved from the colleague’s initial on-boarding, ensuring the colleague receives an exceptional first impression and continued all round great experience. Engagement Coordinators will develop and manage engagement initiatives and incentives to improve communication, colleague engagement and job satisfaction to support making Culina the employer of choice.\n Key Duties of a Engagement Coordinator\nOwning colleague engagement at all stages of the colleague life cycle for Warehouse, Transport and Stock and Administration.\nInitiate the recruitment process for all potential new hires via SmartsConduct pre-screening of candidates within Smarts to the agreed selection criteria\nContact candidates to discuss the role in more details\nInvite candidate for interview, if suitable\nSet up interview.\n\nLead all new starter engagement and inclusion process:Pre start call for induction\nPre start call for 1st shift\nEnsure Docusign and OneHR registration completed\nWelcome on induction / issue clockcards\nDaily Check-in on 1st shift\nWeekly check ins Weeks 2 - 4\nPost Probationary Review check-in\n\nIdentify and suggest improvements in the all-round new starter experience utilising the data you obtain from the check in with colleagues.\nReview induction process and recommend inefficiencies in process - training, OneHR on-boarding.\nEnsure all colleagues are trained and have access to new platforms OneHR, HapiBenefits, Aviva DigiCare.\nBuild trusting relationships with colleagues and actively seek feedback and escalate any issues to the Senior Leadership Team.\nSupport the HR Advisor’s to promote the provision of benefits awareness material - to increase new and existing colleagues' awareness of the Company's benefits and how to access them ie. Employee Assistance Programme, Pension Briefings.\nDeveloping and Implement effective site-wide internal communication strategies capturing all roles and colleagues ie.TV Screens/Noticeboards, Newsletters, Colleague of the month.\nCollaborating with HR and Managers to coordinate, arrange and match in-house training opportunities with appropriate colleague’s i.e. on-site training initiatives, rise programme, D&A training.\nAccountable for developing and implementing innovative engagement initiatives, celebrating all cultures initiatives and events ie.
