This role involves completing store and RDC deliveries across the region and is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and delivering high standards every day.\nWhether you're looking for day shifts or night shifts, we offer a variety of working patterns to suit your lifestyle. Some weekend working may be required as part of the role.\nWhat's on Offer?\nPermanent, full-time employment\nCompetitive pay rates of up to £18.65 per hour\nDay and Night shifts available\n£5 tax-free meal allowance per shift\nModern fleet and well-maintained equipment\nStable, long-term employment with a leading logistics operation\nSupportive transport team and structured driver onboarding\nShift Start Times\nDay Shifts\nStart times typically between 02:00 and 07:00\nNight Shifts\nFlexible start times available across the evening and overnight period\nWe offer flexibility wherever possible, so if these start times don't suit your availability, we'd still like to hear from you.\nPay Rates\nDay Shifts\nMonday to Friday: £15.15 per hour\nSaturday and Sunday: £18.15 per hour\nNight Shifts\nMonday to Friday: £16.35 per hour\nSaturday and Sunday: £18.65 per hour\nAdditional Payments\n£5 tax-free meal allowance per shift\nBank Holidays: £18.96 per hour\nThe Role\nAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:\nDelivering to Distribution Centres and retail stores across the region\nSupporting store delivery work, including occasional loading and unloading of cages\nCompleting trunking routes, drop and swaps, and general haulage assignments\nCarrying out daily vehicle safety checks and completing all relevant paperwork\nMaintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism\nWorking closely with the transport team to ensure efficient operations\nComplying with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and Tachograph legislation\n You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)\nNo more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.\nHold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.\nUnderstand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.\nAble to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.\nShould comply with on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills.\n As part of our drive to make Culina Transport a great place to work.
