Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.\n We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Teynham supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.\nThis is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.\nShift patterns available\nSun - Weds (02:00, 17:00 and 22:00 Starts)\nThurs to Sat (17:00, 20:00 Starts)\nThurs to Sun (22:00 Start)\nSun to Weds (17:00, 22:00 Starts)\nTues, Thurs, Fri and Sat (02:00 Start)\nMon, Thurs, Fri and Sat (06:00, 14:00 Start)\nWeekend Drivers \nWe offer flexibility in shift patterns and other shift patterns can be considered, let us know what you’re looking for, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.\nSalary:\nPay rates\nPay rates range from £15.84 - £25.41 per hour depending on shift, plus opportunity for overtime and subsistence allowance\nWhat you'll be doing:\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.\nWe have a variety of roles available including Night Outs, Trunking, and local store deliveries. \nComplete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\n What we're looking for:\nValid C+E Licence.\nCurrent valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.\nMinimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.\nNewly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn.\nNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.\nGood understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.\nAbility to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.\nCommitment to on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional approach.\n Our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we offer a wide range of benefits which include:\nCompetitive Holiday Entitlement\nPotential to earn £1,300 annual safe driver bonus scheme (Paid each quarter) based on safe and efficient driving\nFully funded Healthcare cash plan value up to £605\nLife Assurance -
