This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.\nShift patterns available\n4 on 4 off\n5 on 3 off\nNights and Days available!!!\nWe offer flexibility in shift patterns with start times available across Mornings and afternoons, let us know what you’re looking for and our Transport team will be more than happy to discuss with you, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.\nPay rates\n5 on 3 off - £42,205.36\n4 on 4 off - £33856.82\nOn top of basic salary our drivers will earn shift allowances depending on the shift and opportunity to boost earnings with overtime premiums,\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.\nComplete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres\nRole may occasionally require handballing however this is limited\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\nTake advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in.\nValid C+E Licence.\nCurrent valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.\nMinimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.\nNewly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn.\nNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.\nGood understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.\nAbility to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.\nCommitment to on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional approach.\n As part of our drive to make Culina a great place to work, we are proud to be an inclusive and diverse organisation where we are committed to employee development and recognising success for hard working performers.\nOur dedicated learning and development programmes are open to every employee to give you the opportunity to shape your own future within logistics and continue to work in an environment where team culture thrives.\nOur people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we offer a wide range of benefits which include:\nAnnual Leave -
