Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.\n We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina team in Haverhill, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.\nThis is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.\nVarious day shift and night shift available inclusive of some weekend work\n£42,205.68 per annum (5 on 3 off)\nShift Premiums: Should your start time fall within the below time slots you will receive a shift premium of:\n12:00-19.59: + £10.00 per shift\n20:00-03.59: + £15.00 per shift\nOvertime Rates:\nMonday to Friday: £17.24/hr\nSaturday: £20.49/hr\nSunday: £23.30/hr\nAdditional Earnings:\nDriver duty premium (11+ hour shifts)\nPerformance bonus\nNight out allowance: £25 per night\nShift allowances (where applicable)\nPlease note: role involves planned and occasional unplanned night outs.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.\nComplete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres\nDrivers interested in Night shift will predominately be supporting our trunking operation to Culina Sites\nNo Cage work or Tipping\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\n What we’re looking for\nValid C+E Licence.\nCurrent valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.\nWe will consider new pass drivers!\nNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.\nGood understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.\nAbility to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.\nCommitment to on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional approach.\nAnnual Leave -
