This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.\nShift start times:\n00:00 - 03:00\n01:00 - 04:00\n02:00 - 05:00\n12:00 - 15:00\n14:00 - 17:00\n17:00 - 20:00\nWe offer flexibility in shift patterns and other shift patterns can be considered, let us know what you’re looking for, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.\nPay rates\n4 on 4 off - £35499.30 basic salary\n5 on 3 off - £44252.37 basic salary\nOur HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with shift allowances premiums and the opportunity for overtime, drivers have the potential to earn up £52680 with OTE.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.\nComplete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres\nDrivers interested in Night shift will predominately be supporting our trunking operation to Culina Sites\nNo Cage work or Tipping\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\nNo Planned Night Outs \n What we’re looking for\nValid C+E Licence.\nCurrent valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.\nMinimum 3 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience required\nNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.\nGood understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.\nAbility to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.\nCommitment to on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional approach.\nOn top of a permanent,
