Enabling growth.\n HGV Class 1 Driver- Days | Permanent Full-Time Opportunities\nStart Times: 5am - 6am\nAvailable Shift Patterns:\nMonday to Friday Days\nPay Rates\nMonday to Friday Days: £15.16 per hour\nOvertime is 1.5x Hourly rate.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.\nComplete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip.\nSupport occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand.\nOccasional Night out may be required\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.\nComplete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly.\nTaking responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintaining a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\n Valid C+E License.\nMinimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred;\nNo more than 6 points on your license and no DD or DR code convictions.\nCurrent valid UK Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph cards.\nGood understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.\nAbility to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.\nCommitment to on-site health and safety requirements.\nExcellent communication skills and a professional approach.\n Additional information\nAs part of our drive to make Culina Contract Logistics a great place to work.
