This is a permanent opportunity offering full-time stability, a regular 4 on 4 off shift pattern and the chance to be part of a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliability and high standards are valued every day.\nShift patterns available\n4 on 4 off Shifts available (Nights and Days)\nVariety of Shift start times available, \nVarious shift patterns available, with ideal start-time windows currently ranging from 00:30 to 04:30, and between 08:00 and 15:00 giving you a choice of early morning and daytime shifts\nLater Shifts starting between 18:30 and 22:30 \nWeekend-only shift options may also be considered, including Saturday and Sunday availability.\nDue to the nature of the products being delivered, our drivers will have 3 hour start windows to ensure they are flexible depending on volume.\nPay rates\nBase Salary up to £36008.61 plus opportunity for overtime to boost earning potential.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nCarry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.\nThe role includes a mix of store and depot deliveries, with some routes involving physical duties such as moving trolleys, handling bread baskets and returning empty baskets.\nLoad and unload where required, including bread baskets, trolleys and empty basket returns on some routes.\nReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.\nComplete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.\nFollow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.\nManage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.\nMaintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.\nObserve and adhere to site procedures at each delivery & collection point\nReport any issues with delivery or collection arrival times, delays, or load discrepancies immediately.\nEnsure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery\nEnsure regular communication with the Transport Office / Customer Services\nAny other duties as reasonably required\nAchieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business\nPossession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC\nMinimum 6 months experience driving Class 1 experience preferred.\nNewly qualified drivers may be considered through a separate new pass route, subject to training availability.\nFull UK Driving Licence\nExcellent attention to detail\nAbility to work without direct supervision\nAdaptable and methodical approach to work/ training\nConscientious and reliable\nProfessional and approachable\nExcellent communication skills\nAbility to work efficiently and accurately under pressure\nEffectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines\nAble to work using own initiative or as part of a team\nKnowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours\n As part of our drive to make Culina Logistics a great place to work.
