The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nYou will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication and tenacity are key attributes, whilst the ability to work pro-actively on your own initiative is also vital to the success of our department.\nWorking hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00 - 06:00\nSalary: Up to £29,535 + £2,000 per annum DOE\nKey Duties of a Stock Controller:\nLiaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly. \nManage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area. \nAccurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first. \nHold and Release process. \nAssist in the management of the pallet database. \nFully investigate and report accurately all short shipments. \nCompletion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis. \nODT planning with Mars and Haulier. \nAssist Stock Management with investigations. \nAny additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples. \n Previous stock control experience. \nFlexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality. \nAble to demonstrate a high level of detail. \nAble to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively. \nTeam player who can also work on own initiative. \nExcellent communication skills. \nAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. \nExcellent investigative and problem-solving skills. \nPC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook \n As part of our drive to make Great Bear a great place to work.
