Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.\n Life in this role\nAs part of our, Chilled & Fresh] division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Stock Controller.\nSalary:£30,564.01\nShift: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00 - 06:00\nKey Duties of a Stock Controller:\nLiaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly. \nManage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area. \nAccurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first. \nHold and Release process. \nAssist in the management of the pallet database. \nFully investigate and report accurately all short shipments. \nCompletion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis. \nODT planning with Mars and Haulier. \nAssist Stock Management with investigations. \nAny additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples. \n What you’ll need ...\nPrevious stock control experience. \nFlexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality. \nAble to demonstrate a high level of detail. \nAble to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively. \nTeam player who can also work on own initiative. \nExcellent communication skills. \nAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. \nExcellent investigative and problem-solving skills. \nPC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook \n What is in it for you?\nIf you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, develop your career, and be part of a team that works as one to achieve great results, we'd love to hear from you.
