Enabling growth.\n Life in this role \nAs part of our Integrated Packing Services, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Supply Chain Planner on a full time permanent basis!\nSalary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum.\nWorking hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.\nKey Duties of a Supply Chain Planner:\nMonitoring and ordering the stock of ingredients and packaging so that production may efficiently achieve customer requirements.\nExpediting and delaying orders as required.\nCommunicating with customers to advise of any issues and manage their expectations accordingly.\nLiaising with customers and suppliers for the call-off of free-issue components and packaging.\nCreating and managing vision data, including stock codes, BOMs, stocking levels, etc.\nCoordinating all departments to ensure new projects launch successfully.\nWorking closely with the Planning team to schedule the planning of production and manage the day to day matters affecting logistics.\nDeveloping and maintaining customer third part systems, including SAP and Oracle.\nOrganising logistics and booking in vehicles for the warehouse as required.\nControlling purchase orders for goods and ensuring tight control of paperwork and procedures.\nPerforming stock reconciliations and stock balances, reporting results internally and to customers.\nActive involvement in the process of internal auditing.\n What you’ll need ... \nPrevious experience within a similar role managing stock, etc.\nAdministrative experience within a fast-paced customer driven environment.\nProven knowledge in running/actioning MRP, planning, logistics and production supply.\nAbility to communicate effectively and professionally, with a positive attitude.\nProactive and adaptable approach with the ability to work using own initiative.\nPC literate with experience in MS Excel, along with excellent attention to detail.\nStrong understanding of the importance of providing high customer service standards.\n What is in it for you? \nIf you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, develop your career, and be part of a team that works as one to achieve great results, we'd love to hear from you.
