Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.\n Life in this role \nAs part of our, Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Transport Support Operator\nSalary: £30,426 per annum.\nWorking hours: 4 on 4 off days, 7am-7pm\n Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator:\nCorrectly debriefing drivers.\nChecking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.\nScanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.\nPreparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.\nPrinting all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.\nAnswering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.\nDownloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.\nEnsuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.\nConsistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.\nDeparting loads using Transport Management System (TMS).\nEnsuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.\n Previous experience in a similar role.\nAttention to detail/ accuracy.\nExcellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.\nAble to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.\nEffectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.\nComputer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent.\nAble to work as part of a team or individually.\nAble to work effectively and communicate to the correct level.\n What is in it for you?\nIf you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, develop your career, and be part of a team that works as one to achieve great results, we'd love to hear from you.\nSalary Sacrifice Car Scheme - our salary sacrifice scheme offers a cost-effective way to drive an electric vehicle, with payments taken directly from your salary.
