Enabling growth.\n Life in this role\nAs part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Transport Support Operator on a full time permanent basis!\nThis position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.\nSalary: £28,181 per annum.\nWorking hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.\n Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator:\nCorrectly debriefing drivers.\nChecking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.\nScanning and storing PODs using the document management system.\nPreparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.\nPrinting all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.\nAnswering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.\nDownloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.\nEnsuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.\nConsistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.\nDeparting loads using Transport Management System (TMS).\nEnsuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.\n What you’ll need ...\nAttention to detail / accuracy.\nAbility to work without direct supervision.\nPositive and adaptable attitude.\nExcellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.\nAbility to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.\nEffectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.\nGood standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.\n What is in it for you?\nIf you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, develop your career, and be part of a team that works as one to achieve great results, we'd love to hear from you.
