You will ensure that the plan meets all legal obligations regarding Working Time Directive (WTD) and EU Drivers Legislation.\nHours: 4 On 4 Off 12hr shift, rotating between Days and Nights\nShifts: 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00\nKey responsibilities of a Logistics Controller \nMaintaining driver/core staff rosters to ensure resource capability over a 24/7 period including reactive and emergency response.\nEnsuring the numbers within the emergency response driving team are consistently maintained.\nImplement and deploy the Emergency Plan ensuring compliance with Company Procedure.\nResponsible for the allocation of ESL transport assets to individual convoys as required for all deployments.\nPlanning of routes and alternative routes, site locations and establishment and assisting with contingency planning.\nAct as a liaison between convoy commander(s) and TLMP Liaison Officer (Customer appointed on shift)\nEnsuring there is ongoing verbal communication with the driver(s) during Adhoc Move Requests form the customer to supplement the use of Microlise to give updates.\nEnsuring there is clear daily communication between shifts, utilising the shift handover document and passing on critical information/concerns to Team Leader and Contract Manager.\nOccasionally assisting when required at drivers / debrief counter for Customer specific movements only.\nRespond to customer requests for movement or other enquiries, escalating as required.Calculating Transport Costs & submitting them for approval\nRequesting drivers & tractor units as required\nAdvising Forecast Team\n\nAdministrative tasks, including weekly hours, vehicle mileage, production of KPI’s\nOut of hours support to Eventor Drivers (secondary to Customer specific work).Liaise with Customer Services on drivers’ behalf\nAssist with Tyre call outs and breakdowns \nUpdate GTS accordingly as required.\n\nAssist with tracking Formula 1 Trucks in season as required (secondary to Customer specific work).\nTo comply with health, Safety, Environment rules to ensure the safety of all employees, contractors and visitors.\nTo report any breaches of Health and Safety to your Line Manager immediately.\nTo report any accidents, incident or close- call in line with Company procedure and assist in any investigations which may be required.\n Working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, Access and Outlook.\nWorking knowledge of WTD and EU Drivers Hours (Core).\nWorking knowledge in GTS and Microlise applications.\nGood customer service skills\n As part of our drive to make Eventor a great place to work.
