Customer centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture.\nAt Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive… A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired!\n Our Lutterworth site have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Controller to join their team on a full time permanent basis.\nSalary: £29,725 per annum.\nWorking hours: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am.\nAs the Operations Controller, you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that all schedules for inbound receipts and outbound loads are run efficiently.\nResponsibilities of the Operations Controller include:\nEfficiently managing the outbound schedule to ensure collection and delivery times are met.\nIssuing instructions to designated staff to maintain a smooth flow of inbound and outbound work.\nControlling paperwork for outbound vehicles, ensuring 100% accuracy.\nBeing the initial point of contact for all drivers arriving on site.\nCommunicating issues to Shift Managers in a timely manner to minimise disruption to the schedule.\nParticipating as an active member of the operations team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus.\nMaintaining good communication with transport providers to ensure late collections and delivery failures are avoided.\nProducing a thorough, detailed handover to the following shift highlighting potential issues, reminders and current state of play.\n Proven experience within a similar fast-paced role.\nAbility to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources.\nPC literate in Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.\nMust be a team player who is capable of working on your own initiative.\nAble to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems.\nExperience and good working knowledge of Autostore and RF kit.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and third party hauliers.\nExcellent time management skills and ability to solve problems.\n As part of our drive to make Great Bear a great place to work, we are proud to be an inclusive and diverse organisation where we are committed to employee development and recognising success for hard working performers.\nOur dedicated learning and development programmes are open to every employee to give you the opportunity to shape your own future within logistics and continue to work in an environment where team culture thrives.\nOur people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we offer a wide range of benefits which include:\nAnnual Leave -
