There are two positions available with one located in Woodland Hills and the other located in Wilmington, CA. We encourage those seeking a challenging role that will give them ample opportunity to engage and impact the community with their talents to apply.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nCoordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies\nPerform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance\nEvaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule\nPerform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims\nParticipate in change order negotiations\nPerform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses\nIdentify schedule related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions\nConduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting\nReview contractor’s weekly and monthly schedule progress, prepare narrative of findings, submit and present to management for decision making\nReview and evaluate contractor recovery schedules\nPerform cost analysis in support of design and construction phases of capital projects\nAnalyze actual expenditures versus budget performance\nPrepare cost loaded schedule to support comprehensive cash flow projections\nUnderstand, interpret and apply contracts, policies and procedures within the school district's guidelines.\nCommunicate effectively orally and in writing • Excellent oral and written communication\nFlexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nRequired Education and Experience:\n10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis\nAdvanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nKnowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling\nExperience with time impact analysis\nExperience with construction claims and change orders\nFlexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties.\nCumming Group is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunity in its personnel policies and practices. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
