The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and managing project costs throughout the construction lifecycle. Experience in data center or mission-critical construction is preferred but not required.\nResponsibilities\nReview, interpret, and accurately estimate assigned scopes of work based on project documents.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders.\nPrepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and other cost management reports.\nPrepare subcontractor analysis and bid comparison sheets for assigned scopes of work.\nReview and evaluate subcontractor proposals, change orders, and cost impacts.\nPerform continuous cost management throughout all phases of construction.\nSupport contract administration and commercial management activities at the project level.\nMonitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and potential cost risks.\nAssist with change management, cost reconciliation, and project reporting.\nProvide accurate and timely cost information to clients and project teams.\nWork collaboratively with project management, estimating, and commercial teams.\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of project cost plans and related documentation.\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.\nExperience: 3-5+ years of experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a related construction discipline.\nExperience with data center or mission-critical construction projects preferred.\nStrong understanding of construction costs, estimating methodologies, construction delivery, and project lifecycle management.\nAbility to prepare and maintain accurate estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.\nUnderstanding of change order management, contract administration, and construction measurement methods.\nStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project information.\nEffective communication and relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.\nStrong attention to detail, accountability, and collaborative working style.\nProfessional accreditation such as MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent is preferred but not required.\nCumming Group is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunity in its personnel policies and practices. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
