The GIS Project Manager position will have a focus in geographic information systems (GIS) to design and maintain dashboards tracking rebuild projects and program items, and to support mapping and data requests for our client, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring your specialized Project Management and GIS expertise to an industry leading team.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nPlan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project. \nEffectively coordinate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders. \nEvaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.\nBuild interactive dashboards (e.g. ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, Power BI) for internal management and public audiences. \nIntegrate data from multiple sources, such as project management, permitting, schedule, and cost systems, into a single reporting view. \nDesign and maintain spatial databases, including data standards, QA/QC, and updating procedures. \nOrganize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and tangible documents.\nRespond to ad hoc data, mapping, and analysis requests on short timelines. \nProduce clear maps, exhibits, and reports for executive briefings and community meetings. \nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelors degree in Geographic Information Science, Geography, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field. \nA minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management.\nA minimum of five (5) years of experience in GIS and data analysis. \nAdvanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and/or ArcGIS Enterprise, or other industry standard software/resources. \nKnowledge of accessibility requirements (ADA/WCAG) for public facing web content. \nAbility to handle sensitive property and resident data in accordance with privacy requirements.\nEffective oral and written communication skills, including translating technical data for non-technical audiences. \nGIS Professional (GSIP) certification preferred. \nExperience with disaster recovery or post-disaster rebuild projects is preferred. \n#LI-NH1\nCumming Group is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunity in its personnel policies and practices.
