As one of the fastest-growing project and cost management consultancies in the United States (ranked in ENR's top 15), we offer over 70 global offices, a diverse project portfolio, and double-digit year-over-year revenue growth.\nYou will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and senior project leaders to define requirements, evaluate planning alternatives, and create foundational programming deliverables.\nThis position is a hybrid role based in either the Bay Area or Seattle, WA.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nSupport the development of facility planning, programming, and pre design deliverables for technical laboratory and specialized facility projects, collaborating with clients, user groups, and subject matter experts to gather project requirements, operational needs, and planning objectives.\nParticipate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, site assessments, and planning sessions.\nDevelop and document space programs, operational requirements, infrastructure considerations, and project constraints.\nPrepare project documentation, including presentations, reports, planning narratives, meeting minutes, and executive client deliverables.\nAnalyze existing facilities, technical infrastructure, operational workflows, and space utilization to inform planning recommendations.\nOrganize and maintain project documentation, action-item logs, decision logs, and planning records.\n Support the development of high-level project scopes, budgets, schedules, and implementation strategies.\nConduct research and quantitative analysis to evaluate planning alternatives and support decision-making.\nParticipate in client meetings and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCoordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout the planning process.\nSupport the preparation of consultant scopes, RFQs, and other planning-related procurement documentation as required.\nTravel occasionally to client sites as required.\nKnowledge & Skills Required:\nDemonstrated understanding of building systems, facility infrastructure, laboratory environments, or technical building design.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise recommendations.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nProficiency with design software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, BIM tools, or similar technical software.\nProficiency with Google Workspace tools.\nExperience preparing technical reports, programming documents, feasibility studies, or facility assessments is preferred.\nInterested in the planning and development of complex technical facilities, including laboratories, research environments, and other specialized building types.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear planning recommendations.\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nEducation: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field\nExperience: 2-5 years of experience in Architecture, engineering, facility planning or design consulting\nCumming Group is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunity in its personnel policies and practices.
