With over 70 offices globally, an extremely diverse project portfolio, and double-digit year-over-year revenue growth, the opportunities to make your mark are limitless!\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nPlan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.\n\nValue Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.\n\nManage the on-site project stakeholders.\n\nPrepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.\n\nEvaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.\n\nDevelop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.\n\nRe-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.\n\nCoordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.\n\nOrganize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and tangible documents.\n\nDrive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various local, state, and federal agencies and ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently.\n\nEnsure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards.\n\nPrepare cost and revenue projections.\n\nPerform Constructability Review to determine the reasonability of a build plan.\n\nDevelop and lead design management, procurement strategies, construction, fit-out, and closeout.\n\nContracts and claim negotiations.\n\nBudget development and management.\n\nAbility to run larger, more complex projects.\n\nEffectively delegate project tasks to project management team.\n\nOversee the entitlement process for unoccupied construction sites to ensure appropriate zoning is obtained.\n\nLead the vision for project procedures and processes for running the project.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nAttendance at work during normal business hours.\n\nKnowledge & Skills Required:\nKnowledge and experience planning, managing & coordinating all aspects of project, scope and cost for multiple projects.\n\nDemonstrated ability to monitor and re-evaluate scope throughout the project and recommend adjustments when necessary.\n\nExperience collaborating with cost management group to provide accurate and timely cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.\n\nExperience with Value Engineering\n\nAbility to exercise creativity and resourcefulness in managing the project effectively in a compressed timeframe.\n\nUtilize effective written and oral communication skills.\n\nAbility to understand how your role contributes to the organization's goals.\n\nDeliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values.\n\nHold self accountable to individual and team goals.\n\nConsistently communicate and collaborate with team members and clients.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build positive relationships with peers, leaders, and clients.\n\nProactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression.\n\nDemonstrate ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough.\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nEducation: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field\n\nExperience: 6+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management\n\nPreferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED\n\nCumming Group is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunity in its personnel policies and practices.
