That’s what #LifeAtCummins is all about.\nWe are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Finance team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.\nJob Summary\nResponsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of an Accounts Receivable team. Ensures the effective execution of collection activities, supports process improvements, and develops team capabilities while maintaining compliance with accounting policies and business requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise a team of Accounts Receivable clerks in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.\n\nMonitor the accounts receivable and collection process, including follow-up and negotiations on past-due accounts.\n\nPrepare and analyze reports related to receivables, receipts, account balances, and collection performance.\n\nIdentify and recommend changes to methods and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Receivable function.\n\nAssign work based on team availability, skills, workload, and development needs.\n\nCoach and mentor team members to support their professional development and performance.\n\nAssess employee performance and provide timely feedback and guidance.\n\nIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different locations to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting policies, internal controls, and business processes.\n\nSupport the identification and mitigation of process risks and internal control gaps.\n\nAnalyze financial information, trends, and variances to identify opportunities and risks and support business decision-making.\n\n Education, Licenses & Certifications\nCollege, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience required.\n\nExperience\nIntermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study, including some supervisory experience.\n\nExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of tax processes and regulations is preferred.\n\nExperience with process improvement, standardization, or automation is preferred.\n\nIntermediate English Level.\n\nCompetencies\nLeadership - Leads and develops the team by fostering collaboration, accountability, and alignment with business objectives and organizational culture.\n\nBuilds Effective Teams - Builds strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.\n\nCommunicates Effectively - Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.\n\nCustomer Focus - Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.\n\nDevelops Talent - Develops people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.\n\nDrives Results - Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances.\n\nEnsures Accountability - Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.\n\nManages Conflict - Handles conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.\n\nOptimizes Work Processes - Identifies and applies effective and efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nCollaboration - Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different locations.\n\nAdaptability - Adapts effectively to changing business needs, processes, and priorities.\n\nInfluence - Influences stakeholders and team members to support business objectives and drive positive outcomes.\n\nTeam Building - Creates an environment that promotes trust, collaboration, engagement, and shared accountability.\n\nContinuous Improvement Mindset - Continuously identifies opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and business results.\n\nValues Differences - Recognizes the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.\n\nBusiness Partnering - Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance aligned with organizational goals and strategies;
