Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.\nAchieves high customer satisfaction ratings. Works with customers and Cummins employees to continuously improve customer satisfaction and to understand what the customer will need from Cummins in the future.\nTranslates long-term business strategy into actionable short-term business goals for the organization.\nManages Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.\nDevelops, leads, and motivates Supervisors and Individual Contributors; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Develops high-functioning teams.\nDevelops a deep understanding of all of Cummins’ businesses. Identifies and helps to develop new business opportunities that are optimized for Cummins.\nUnderstands the region within which the organization operates as well as Cummins’ global products and presence.\n To be successful in this role you will need the following:\nMinimum 10 years of people management experience, including leading large teams (70+ employees) through Supervisors and Individual Contributors.\n\nProven experience with full P&L ownership at country or business-unit level.\n\nExperience managing in a matrix organization across multiple segments and functions.\n\nExperience working with local agencies, distributors or partners in the market.\n\nBuilding strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.\n\nEffectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.\n\nCollege, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or related field required.
