Lead the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of manufacturing equipment and process enhancements that improve operational performance and reliability. \n Improve OEE & Production Performance - Champion Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase machine uptime, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing processes. \nSupport Daily Production Success - Manage day-to-day production support activities, ensuring manufacturing issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to maintain operational stability. \n Lead Strategic Capital Projects - Partner with Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME) teams to plan, install, and implement capital equipment that supports capacity growth, productivity improvements, and future business needs. \nAdvance Continuous Improvement Initiatives - Utilize Lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving methodologies, and Cummins standards to drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. \nDevelop & Coach Technical Talent - Mentor and support engineers, technicians, and key stakeholders to strengthen technical capabilities, build organizational expertise, and foster a high-performing team culture. \nInfluence Cross-Functional Success - Collaborate with business leaders, operations teams, suppliers, and external partners to successfully execute projects, standardize best practices, and achieve long-term manufacturing excellence. \n To be successful in this role you will need the following:\nLead Through Technical Expertise - Leverage strong manufacturing engineering knowledge, equipment design, capital procurement, and process development experience to improve production performance and support strategic initiatives. \nDrive Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving - Utilize data-driven analysis, root cause methodologies, and continuous improvement tools to improve OEE, reduce waste, enhance quality, and optimize manufacturing processes. \nChampion Safety & Ergonomic Excellence - Promote a proactive safety culture by incorporating ergonomic principles, safe work practices, and risk-reduction strategies into equipment, processes, and workstation designs. \nCollaborate & Communicate Effectively - Build strong partnerships across Operations, Engineering, GME, and leadership teams while clearly communicating priorities, project status, and technical solutions to stakeholders. \nStandardize Processes & Develop Talent -
