These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records; preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)\nWe are looking for a talented Parts Representative to join our Distribution business in Kamloops .\nWill make an impact in the following ways:\nAssist Distribution Business customers, technicians, and internal personnel in identifying and securing required parts and supplies\nPerform customer parts counter duties including receiving calls, greeting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash, check, and credit card transactions\nUtilize systems, catalogs, and other resources to identify, source, and procure parts in a cost- and time-efficient manner\nSupport technicians and other parts personnel with complex parts requests or alternative solutions\nMaintain accurate records and documentation related to parts transactions, inventory, and core processing\nMaintain a clean, organized customer parts area and warehouse\nIdentify opportunities to upsell supporting products and services when appropriate\nComply with Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and use required personal protective equipment\nPerform additional parts-related duties including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse activities as assigned\n In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:\nStrong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support internal and external customers\nMinimum 3-5 years of Heavy Duty/Mining/ Industrial parts experience given preference\n\nWorking knowledge of parts order processing and order life cycle systems\nAbility to manage inventory using warehouse inventory control methodologies\nProficiency with Microsoft applications and computer systems, including report generation\nAbility to collaborate effectively with technicians and cross-functional teams\nAction-oriented mindset with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience\nSome relevant work experience or intermediate knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience\nAbility to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations, if applicable\nCompensation and Benefits\nBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
