HR Operations atCummins Comercializadora inSan Luis Potosí, SLP, Mexico.\nWork Modality: Hybrid, 3 days on site, 2 days home office.\nIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:\nOversee end-to-end US/CA tax withholdings, deposits, and employment tax return filings across multiple state and federal jurisdictions.\nAct as the subject matter expert in researching and resolving complex tax notices, audits, and discrepancies with the IRS, state, and local tax authorities.\nConduct routine audits of employee tax setups, tax configurations, and payroll data. \nReconcile gross payroll, tax deductions, and general ledger accounts.\nManage tax updates, SUI rates, and tax jurisdictions in HCM/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).\nOversee annual year-end processes, including adjustments, amendments, and W-2/W-2c remediation. \nManage escalation of Answers queries and explain tax withholding and other adjustments that conclude in net pay\nPartner with payroll team members to help ensure correct handling of more complex tax setups (e.g. expats, stock, work/res split jurisdictions).\n To be successful in this role, you will need the following:\n5+ years of relevant payroll tax experience supporting a large employee population, including remote employees, within a multi-state and multi-entity organization.\nStrong knowledge of US and/or Canadian payroll tax regulations\nStrong working knowledge of major HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP) and third-party tax applications (e.g., ADP SmartCompliance).\nComprehensive knowledge of federal, multi-state, provincial and local wage and hour and tax regulations\nStrong working knowledge of taxation of fringe benefits/BIK and long-term equity incentive instruments (RSUs, NQ Stock Options, etc.)\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail with high service orientation, integrity, discretion, and ownership of work with the ability to work independently\nAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment\nIntermediate to advanced analytical skillset, including the use of Excel V-Lookup and Pivot Tables and/or other tools\nAble to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality}\nAdvanced English Level required\nPreferred:\nFrench Canadian language level is a plus.\nCompetencies:\nFinancial Regulations Acumen \nTax
