During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.\nThis role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence in Summer 2027.\nIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:\nSupport the Cummins Value Package Introduction (VPI) process, which is used to bring new engine and aftertreatment systems to market. Work as part of a team to complete activities such as catalyst selection, performance evaluation, mapping and proof-of-concept testing, and data analysis. (The exact scope of activities will depend on the stage of the development cycle during your placement.)\nSupport the procurement and shipment of parts between different test facilities.\nCollaborate with the Test Operations function to produce test instructions for test programs. Analyze test cell data to evaluate performance across various test types and scenarios.\nParticipate in cross-functional design reviews for catalyst hardware.
