During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.\nWorking under the guidance of the Technical Specialist, the student will be involved in all aspects of the current product engineering group, assisting to provide technical support for Cummins Emission Solutions technology, throughout Europe.\nThis role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence in Summer 2027. \n In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:\nSupporting the identification, resolution and implementation of fixes on key product issues with Automotive OEM’s. \nPotential site and field visitation for current product issues.\n\nParticipating in product issue projects following the 7-step process including fault tree analysis, field data analysis and route cause analysis.\n\nVehicle and test cell data analysis using Cummins own analysis tools and Matlab.\n\nWorking closely with functional experts across the globe to understand the assignable cause and drive a resolution for the end users in a timely manner.\n\nInvolvement in the placement student team community involvement team planning charity and local community support events.\n\n To be successful in this role you will need the following:\nWe are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from across all Engineering & STEM related subjects\n\nExcellent computing skills;
