Applying Cummins generator sets and power solutions requires the development of technical specifications, implementing new design configurations, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment and system solutions integrated with customers’ needs in a variety of applications. Integrating high quality and optimized customer solutions requires interaction with sales, marketing, product engineering, and service teams.\nIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:\nLATAM technical support for Power Generation, providing expert guidance for sales and generator projects, energy storage systems, and external audits.\nSupport product selection, design, and integration decisions to meet customer and distributor performance and quality expectations.\nApply standard processes such as sizing, project support during the pre-sales stage, as well as technical support during implementation phases.\nBuild effective relationships with customer technical counterparts, supporting product specifications, change communication, and resolution of installation issues.\nContribute to translating customer needs into product requirements and support voice of customer inputs in design and development discussions.\nEnsure products are correctly applied and installed, supporting validation of prototype performance and compliance with Cummins standards.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and support customer-focused solutions.\nCollaborate with team members, including engineers, technicians, and student employees, supporting knowledge sharing.\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\nMore than 5 years as a Product Engineer and Application with experience in Generator Set Applications and Power Generation Solutions\nProduct Portfolio Knowledge: Solid understanding of equipment specifications, capabilities, and limitations, including Power Generation, and generators.\nLanguage Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.\nConsultative Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical insights for customers, design, and sales teams.\nProblem Solving: Ability to support resolution of technical challenges during installation and operation, working effectively under pressure.\nBachelor degree in Engineering, mechatronics, automation, electronics and electrical.\nNice to have skills\nEngines product knowledge.\nTraining & Communication Skills: Capability to
