We look to hire the best and then help you to become even better.\nWe are seeking an experienced Technician - Field Service to join our dynamic team based out of our coastal Bunbury branch, south of Perth in Western Australia. In this role, you will diagnose and complete repairs to Cummins engines and related components at customer sites, while also supporting workshop repairs and other Cummins branches as required.\nIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:\nEngage customers in a courteous and professional manner, anticipating needs and ensuring prompt, efficient service.\n\nDiagnose and complete repairs to Cummins engines and related components at customer sites using specialised tools, documented procedures and policies.\n\nIdentify and prepare required parts and tools to complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.\n\nPerform preventative maintenance activities in line with documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field.\n\nEscalate unresolved technical issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or the Supervisor.\n\nComplete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims and quality documents, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.\n\nIdentify additional service opportunities with customers and support a positive customer experience.\n\nComplete training in line with skill and business requirements.\n\nMaintain the service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.\n\nEnsure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to site management and your Supervisor.\n\nComplete in-workshop repairs as required and provide support to other Cummins branches when needed.\n\nTo be successful in this role you will need the following:\nWA driver’s licence \nAustralian working rights\nMechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience. \nCummins experience is not required however engine experience is desirable \nSafety Focused and the ability to work effectively in a team environment\n Additional Information:\nFull Time / 38 hours per week\nOvertime as required - Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours\nOn Call Roster 2:6 weeks\nAll your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered\nDomestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate \nLocal Valid Drivers License is required\n\nTo be successful in this role you will need the following:\n\nApprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent\nBasic level of workshop or field service experience required\nBasic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products\nHeavy Vehicle Experience preferred\nHR License preferred \n Critical Competencies:\nHealth & Safety Fundamentals - Champions proactive safety behaviours and actions to prevent injuries. \nDiagnostics Application - Troubleshoots issues, identifies failed components, and documents solutions.\nElectronic Service Tool Application - Uses electronic tools to diagnose, maintain, and resolve service issues.\nEngine Systems Interactions - Analyses electrical and mechanical system interactions to diagnose and repair effectively. \nProduct Repair & Maintenance - Completes quality repairs and maintenance in line with guidelines and standards. \nService Documentation - Accurately records customer, equipment, technical, and repair information. \nTechnical Escalation - Escalates complex issues appropriately and records troubleshooting activities.\n Values Differences - Recognises the value of diverse perspectives and experiences.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3955,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-01T20:23:48Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 847 · green card filings: 196","filings_12m":847,"filings_prev_12m":762,"green_card_filings_12m":196,"median_offered_wage_usd":105319,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-29T16:27:21+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)","US Department of Labor: PERM disclosure data (green cards)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0},{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker, Graduate Trainee)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
