in the following ways:\nEnsure material availability by determining accurate order quantities and timing to support production schedules and customer demand.\n\nInitiate and expedite purchase and production orders to maintain supply continuity and minimize disruptions.\n\nCollaborate with suppliers, sourcing teams, and cross-functional partners to proactively address constraints and improve delivery performance.\n\nOptimize inventory levels by balancing supply and demand, reducing lead times, and minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.\n\nSupport Plan for Every Part (PFEP) initiatives through master data accuracy checks and effective material planning practices.\n\nDrive timely resolution of non-conforming materials and critical supply issues to protect production and customer commitments.\n\nProvide clear, accurate updates on inventory availability, backorder recovery plans, and supplier performance to support informed decision-making.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement by participating in quality, safety, material flow, and process enhancement projects while maintaining compliance with HSE and quality standards.\n\n To be successful in this role you will need the following:\nStrong communication skills to effectively share information, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and tailor messaging to meet the needs of different audiences.\n\nAbility to analyze complex and sometimes conflicting information to make sound planning decisions and resolve supply chain challenges.\n\nProficiency in utilizing materials planning systems and related tools to manage supply and demand, investigate exceptions, and drive data-based corrective actions.\n\nKnowledge of PFEP, master supply scheduling, and part change control processes to support efficient material flow, inventory optimization, and customer delivery requirements.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to interpret supply chain KPIs, evaluate performance gaps, and optimize processes to improve operational results while balancing business priorities.\n\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.\n\nCollege, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.\n\nThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.\n\nRequires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.\n\n Additional Information\nCore experience\n3-5+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, production planning, or procurement.\n\nExperience supporting new product/program launches, preferably from development through production ramp-up.\n\nStrong understanding of MRP, ERP, BOMs, inventory planning, and demand/supply balancing.\n\nExperience managing materials across multiple suppliers, manufacturing sites, and/or contract manufacturers.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demand, engineering changes, and launch schedules.\n\nKey technical skills\nMRP/ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.\n\nBOM and material master management.\n\nDemand planning and forecasting.\n\nCapacity and lead-time analysis.\n\nSafety stock and inventory optimization.\n\nPurchase order and supplier delivery management.\n\nShortage identification and resolution.\n\nAdvanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.\n\nAbility to create and maintain material readiness dashboards/KPIs.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.\n\nPresent material and supply-chain issues clearly, facilitate problem-solving discussions, and develop and track effective corrective actions to resolve issues and support program launch
