You'll be responsible for receiving, counting, and managing inventory in compliance with state medical cannabis regulations. As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll ensure products are properly tracked within Metrc, Sweed POS, and/or state-specific seed-to-sale systems, enabling customers to find the products they need when they need them.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCustomer Experience & Teamwork\nAssist front-of-house team with sales when needed to support exceptional customer service.\n\nAdvise team members on proper care and preservation of inventory to maintain product quality for customers.\n\nCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive shopping experience.\n\nOperations & Store Standards\nMaintain accurate inventory records throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nManage product intake, verifying invoices and entering products into the POS system using correct naming conventions.\n\nConduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and audits, including full monthly store inventories.\n\nMonitor inventory levels to align with promotions and customer demand.\n\nLog receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts.\n\nFollow audit programs and perform physical inventory checks to maintain integrity of company records.\n\nOversee inventory deliveries, including signing manifests and filing documentation.\n\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\n\nPrint and label products for stocking shelves and returns.\n\nAssess internal controls over inventory and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.\n\nStay informed about state/local laws, regulations, and industry trends.\n\nOccasional travel (up to 5%) to assist other local stores.\n\nSupport initiatives that ensure product availability and timely replenishment to meet customer demand.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n\nAt least six months of experience in a customer-facing role.\n\nAt least six months of experience handling inventory or performing cycle counts in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.\n\nComfort using point-of-sale systems and handling transactions accurately.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.\n\nOpen availability, including evenings, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts.\n\nClear and professional communication skills to connect with customers and team members.\n\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nComfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools to support operations.\n\nAttention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow procedures accurately.\n\nCalm and solution-oriented approach when resolving issues or de-escalating concerns.\n\nHigh level of integrity, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.\n\nCollaborative mindset and readiness to support store leadership and contribute to success.\n\nEven Better If You Have:\nExperience in state-specific cannabis inventory management.\n\nProficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management software.\n\nFamiliarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.\n\nPrevious experience within a regulated retail setting.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds.
