Retail Operations Manager

Region: Florida

The candidate must be based out of the Tampa, FL or Miami Metro Area and be willing to travel 50% of the time throughout the state.

In this role, you'll serve as a key member of the National Operations team, partnering with leaders across multiple markets to drive operational excellence, improve profitability, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll help identify opportunities, implement innovative solutions, and influence strategic initiatives that enhance performance across our retail footprint.

What You'll Do

  • Drive operational excellence across Curaleaf's retail locations by identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and ensuring consistent execution.
  • Partner with Store, District, Area, and Regional leaders to improve performance, enhance the customer experience, and achieve business goals.
  • Serve as a national retail operations subject matter expert, supporting new initiatives, operational rollouts, testing, and training programs.
  • Analyze key business metrics, financial performance, and operational KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct national-level P&L analysis and provide recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize procedures, processes, and operational standards across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support sales growth, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and support national projects from concept through execution, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
  • Partner with the Retail Systems team on system enhancements, testing, new technology implementations, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Support new store openings, product launches, and other critical business initiatives across multiple markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support operational success.
  • Use data and market insights to identify business opportunities and improve performance across both medical and adult-use markets.
  • Coach and support retail leaders, helping them drive accountability, operational consistency, and exceptional results.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve retail operations from both a customer experience and back-of-house efficiency perspective.
  • Travel up to 50% to support stores, initiatives, and operational priorities across the country.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent retail operations experience.
  • 3-5+ years of operational management experience within a retail or hospitality multi-unit environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, regions, or national operations.
  • Strong retail business acumen, including experience with:
    • P&L management
    • Profitability analysis
    • Labor forecasting
    • Sales performance metrics
    • Operational KPIs
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and execute priorities across a broad geographic scope.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to assess changing market conditions, identify business opportunities, and adapt strategies accordingly.
