The Director partners closely with the CIO and cross-functional leadership to translate business and product priorities into scalable, secure, and reliable technology platforms, while building and mentoring a high-performing multi-disciplinary engineering organization. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both deep technical credibility and strong people and program management skills.\nJob Responsibilities:\nOwn the technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Development, Database, DevOps, Security, and VoIP functions, ensuring alignment with CureMD's product and business objectives.\nLead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering organization of managers, architects, and engineers, building a strong bench of technical leadership and a healthy engineering culture.\nProvide architectural direction and hands-on technical guidance across the ASP.NET/.NET technology stack, ensuring applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, and performant.\nOwn end-to-end software delivery, partnering with Product and QA to drive predictable release cadence, code quality, and engineering best practices (code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing).\nOversee database architecture, performance, availability, and disaster recovery strategies across production and non-production environments (SQL Server and related platforms).\nDrive DevOps maturity - CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, environment management, and release engineering - to increase deployment speed and reliability.\nProvide technical oversight of the VoIP/telephony function, ensuring alignment with the broader engineering roadmap, security standards, and enterprise architecture.\nDefine and track engineering KPIs (velocity, quality, uptime, MTTR, security posture) and report progress, risks, and recommendations to the CIO and senior leadership.\nDrive project and program management discipline across engineering initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and dependencies are actively managed and communicated.\nLead root-cause analysis, incident response, and post-mortem reviews for major production issues, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nEvaluate, recommend, and lead adoption of new technologies, tools, and engineering practices (including AI-assisted development and automation) to improve productivity and product quality.\nPartner with HR on hiring, performance management, career development, and succession planning for the engineering organization.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science (BSCS) or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.\nMinimum 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering, including at least 6-8 years in senior engineering leadership roles managing multi-disciplinary teams.\nStrong hands-on knowledge of the ASP.NET/.NET technology stack, enterprise application architecture, and modern software design patterns.\nDemonstrated experience owning or closely partnering across Database engineering, DevOps/Infrastructure, and Application/Information Security functions.\nSolid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization, and CI/CD pipeline design.\nWorking knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data-security/compliance requirements; Healthcare IT / EHR industry experience strongly preferred.\nProven project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.\nStrong track record of building, scaling, and retaining high-performing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.\nExcellent executive communication skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy into business terms for the CIO and senior leadership.\nPrior exposure to VoIP/telephony or unified communications platforms is a plus, but not required.\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\nFinancial:\nCompetitive salary and bi-annual bonus.\nFast track and uncapped career growth for high performers.\nCompany-sponsored vehicle financing (car and bike).\nInterest-free loans.\nProvident Fund: CureMD matches up to 8% of your base salary.\nFuel Card.\nCellular Allowance.\nHealth and Wellness:\nIn-house clinic with a team of certified male and female doctors with 24/7 telemedicine service.\nHospital treatment monitoring by company doctors.\nComprehensive health coverage for your immediate family (outpatient, inpatient, maternity and parents' inpatient).\nExclusive health benefits and discounts at top class clinics and labs.\nSupportive Workplace:\nPick-up and drop-off services for female employees.\nIn-house daycare facility.\nIn-house gym and recreational area to unwind.\nContinued Learning:\nCompany-sponsored trainings, workshops, development programs and retreats.\nPaid specialized trainings/certifications.\nThe Difference You'll Make:\nAt CureMD, every role, whether senior or junior, plays a pivotal part in transforming healthcare.
