The Research Scientist II will perform testing of biological molecules including proteins, DNA, and RNA using a variety of established analytical techniques. This role provides on-demand analytical support to Process Development teams, enabling program progression through timely delivery of analytical results and technical insight. We pursue excellence because our work has the power to improve patients’ lives with the pharmaceuticals we develop and manufacture\nWe proudly offer\nGenerous benefit options (eligible first day of employment) \nPaid training, vacation and holidays (vacation accrual begins on first day of employment)\nCareer advancement opportunities \nEducation reimbursement\n401K program with matching contributions\nResponsibilities\nExecute analytical methods for characterization and testing of biological molecules including proteins, DNA, and RNA.\nPerform analytical procedures independently including ELISA, cIEF, CE-SDS, HPLC/UPLC, qPCR, PA800, cell-based assays, and other applicable techniques.\nGenerate accurate, high-quality analytical data to support Process Development studies and program milestones.\nAnalyze and interpret analytical results and communicate findings to Process Development teams.\nPerform assays independently with minimal supervision while maintaining data integrity and quality standards.\nEnter, verify, and maintain analytical data and laboratory records in accordance with site procedures.\nPrepare data summaries, technical reports, and presentations to support internal program reviews and customer communications.\nSupport operational activities related to RNA development programs, including methodology, execution, optimization, and coordination of analytical activities.\nMaintain laboratory organization, equipment readiness, and compliance with applicable procedures.\nFollow all safety requirements and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry or related field and a minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Biology/Chemistry or related field and a minimum 1 year relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in Biology/Chemistry or related field\nOther Qualifications\nMust pass a background check\nMust pass a drug screen\nMay be required to pass Occupational Health Screening\nPay Range: $76,000-$95,300/yr.\nEducation, experience, location and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.\nWe do not accept unsolicited assistance from any headhunters or recruitment firms for any of our job openings.
