Diagnosis problems and makes recommendations to the Environmental Engineer.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DEC and DOH agencies as they relate to the requirements of site permits, including oil spills, chemical spills, air quality and water contamination.\nManage and maintain refrigeration systems, including maintaining records and regulatory reporting.\nSupport energy conservation initiatives including commitment to ESG for energy assessments and reduction.\nWorks with other groups within the plant on projects including plant expansion, process improvements, and capital improvements.\nProject management of plant utility projects during annual shutdowns.\nFunctions independently as well as cross-dept. collaboratively.\nRecommend and implement methods to increase the quality of products and/or services.\nParticipate in self-development activities.\nExhibit safety awareness, safe work practices and Emergency Response Team (ERT) participation. \nPerform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business or as requested by supervisor or management.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant field and 3 years related work experience, OR\nMaster’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant field and 1 year of related work experience\nPreferred\nProject management experience a plus\nMust possess excellent oral and written communication skills\nExperience in a manufacturing plant\n\nOther Qualifications\nMust pass a background check\nMust pass a drug screen\nMay be required to pass Occupational Health Screening\nPay Range: $72,300-$87,800/yr.\nEducation, experience, location and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.\nWe do not accept unsolicited assistance from any headhunters or recruitment firms for any of our job openings.
