Team members are strongly encouraged to come into the office three days a week. \nThe Role\nWe are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our growing Tax Team in our Washington, D.C. office. In this role, you'll work directly alongside our Tax Director - not several layers removed - gaining hands-on mentorship and real exposure to complex, high-net-worth tax work from day one. You'll help deliver high-quality tax preparation, compliance, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their related entities, while collaborating closely with our Wealth Management team to contribute to integrated, thoughtful client solutions. \nThis is a growth-track role: we're looking for someone early in their tax career who wants to be developed, not someone who already needs a senior title. We invest the time to train the right person the right way. \nNo billable hour requirements. You won't be tracking your day in six-minute increments or chasing a utilization target - your focus is doing excellent work for clients, not logging time against it. This is one of the clearest ways our environment differs from a traditional public accounting firm. \nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate and collaborate closely with our Tax Director to deliver Tax Services with in-house resources and our trusted external partners \nServe as liaison with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party outsourced providers \nPrepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, estates, and gifts \nAssist with tax compliance and strategic planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses \nCoordinate the collection and organization of client tax information and manage engagement workflow timelines in partnership with our internal IT and Operations teams \nResearch federal, state, and local tax matters and communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders \nSupport the development and refinement of scalable tax policies and procedures \nCollaborate cross-functionally with Wealth Management and other business lines to deliver holistic client solutions \nWork directly alongside the Tax Director on engagement strategy, keeping partners and client service teams informed on progress and key issues \nParticipate in client proposals and new business opportunities as needed \nManage multiple engagements and meet deadlines, including occasional extended hours during peak filing periods - without a billable-hour requirement attached\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required \nCPA or MST preferred (or actively pursuing certification) - see CPA support below \nTwo to four years of relevant tax experience, including internships, in public accounting, a CPA firm, RIA, or financial services environment \nCompensation\nBase salary: $100,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience with a performance bonus opportunity for hitting goal metrics \nCPA exam support: reimbursement for exam prep coursework and exam sitting fees for candidates actively pursuing their CPA, contingent on one year of continued employment following the bonus \nCPA signing bonus for candidates who already hold an active CPA license, contingent on one year of continued employment \nThe base salary will be commensurate with an individual's work experience and educational background.\nUS Pay Range\n$100,000—$115,000 USD\nOur Vision: To be the trusted partner in medicine, business, and life. \nOur Mission: By providing valued advice and support, we help strengthen care, mitigate risk, and build financial futures to enhance the lives of those we serve. \nOur Values:\nAccountability: We are driven to act, work with integrity, and deliver results. \nCuriosity: We ask and listen, stay curious, and are eager to learn. \nTeamwork: We build strong relationships, celebrate success, and partner for greater impact. \nInclusion: We respect, recognize, and encourage the differences that make us stronger-we are better together\nBuilt On; \nService Commitment:We demonstrate an unwavering commitment to our clients, business partners, teammates, and communities. \nOur Benefits\nCuri Capital offers eligible team members and their dependents comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
