refactoring\nDriving a test-driven development (TDD) culture, ensuring comprehensive unit, integration, and regression testing across the codebase.\nIdentifying gaps in test coverage and proposing pragmatic, incremental solutions to close them.\nChampioning automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe releases\nAI-Driven Development:\nActively leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) to accelerate development workflows.\nExploring and promoting best practices around responsible use of AI in software engineering.\nSharing learnings with the broader engineering team to uplift collective capability.\nTechnical Collaboration:\nActing as a go-to technical resource for peers, sharing knowledge on architecture, testing, and best practices.\nParticipating in code reviews and contributing to the definition of coding standards.\nCollaborating with peer engineers and the product team on technical strategy and roadmap planning.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of professional Java development experience.\nStrong proficiency in Java and enterprise Java frameworks (Spring).\nSolid experience designing and implementing integration tests at scale.\nStrong testing background: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.\nExperience with Oracle Database, including SQL optimization and performance tuning.\nExperience with application refactoring, legacy code modernization, and technical debt reduction.\nSolid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.\nProficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.\nExperience with Kubernetes on AWS.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools and an appetite to integrate them into daily engineering practice.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.\nCollaborative mindset with a natural drive to share knowledge and elevate peers.\nProven ability to influence technical quality without formal authority.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nComfortable working in a multicultural, distributed engineering
