The role works closely with the billing team and supports the Controller and partners on day-to-day accounting requests and projects.\nQualifications:\nAssociate's degree in Business/Accounting or relevant work experience\n\nExperience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting support is preferred.\n\nComfort working in Excel and learning accounting, payment, and practice management systems.\n\nAbility to identify discrepancies, manage daily tasks alongside monthly deadlines, and handle confidential information with care.\n\nClear, professional communication with clients and colleagues, especially when discussing payments or resolving account questions.\n\nExcellent communication skills and timely follow-up with phone calls\n\nRequirements:\nApply incoming payments to client invoices, prepare daily payment reports, and follow up on payments that cannot be matched to an account.\n\nRespond to client calls and emails about invoices, payments, and statements. Follow up on past-due balances and bring unresolved issues to the Controller or responsible partner.\n\nMonthly billing duties for the Syracuse office.\n\nReview finance charges outstanding, process approved write-offs and prepare and mail client statements as needed.\n\nRecord client expenses and enter approved time and work-in-progress (WIP) adjustments in the practice management system.\n\nRoute vendor invoices to accounts payable and record purchases and supporting receipts in Ramp.\n\nAssist the Controller and partners with special projects, including integrating newly acquired firms, and provide general administrative support as needed.\n\nOther duties as assigned, such as Admin overflow and integration\n\n$26.00-$32.00/hour\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.\nOur salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
