Whether you join Current, one of our partner firms, or our global team, you’ll be part of a community shaping the future of the profession.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Integrations to lead the successful integration of acquired firms within accounting and professional services. This high-impact role is responsible for end-to-end integration management-across operational, cultural, and strategic dimensions-in close collaboration with our local partners, corporate functional teams (finance, IT, HR, compliance, etc.), and leadership teams.\nThe ideal candidate has practical experience with M&A integration, operational knowledge of accounting firms, outstanding relationship-building skills, and thrives in fast-paced and high-change environments. Success in this role centers on the ability to lead internal functional teams, earning the trust of managing partners and partner groups, while ensuring the smooth adoption of shared systems, processes, and cultural norms.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and Manage Integrations: Oversee all integration activities for newly acquired firms, including creation and alignment of the integration approach, and ensuring timely and effective execution across accounting, finance, IT, compliance, HR, and operational functions.\n\nProject Management Excellence: Drive each integration as a structured, high-stakes project-setting clear timelines, defining workstreams, tracking milestones, managing risks, communicating to stakeholders, and ensuring cross-functional accountability from start to finish.\n\nPartner Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for integration with each acquired firm’s Managing Partner and leadership team, developing strong and collaborative relationships from Day 1.\n\nCross-Functional Coordination: Act as the integration quarterback-coordinating efforts across functional departments and ensuring accountability for deliverables from both corporate and firm-based teams.\n\nCultural Integration: Support softer elements of integration, including partner onboarding, firm communications, cultural assimilation, and change management.\n\nPlaybook Execution & Continuous Improvement: Apply and continuously refine our integration playbook. Identify risks, escalate issues early, and develop creative solutions to integration challenges.\n\nProgress Reporting: Regularly report integration status, risks, and opportunities to the Regional VP, CEO, and firm Managing Partners, and ensure key milestones are tracked and met.\n\nRegional Alignment: Collaborate with our firms to ensure consistency and best practice sharing across integrations.\n\nPosition Requirements\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in operations or leadership roles within an accounting firm, preferably with M&A or integration exposure or 5+ years of experience in integration and / or project management leadership roles, preferably with accounting or professional services exposure.\n\nStrong understanding of how accounting firms operate, including partner dynamics, workflow models, common technology and systems, client service delivery, and regulatory context strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.\n\nExceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building trust with senior leaders and partner groups.\n\nHigh bias toward action, detail-oriented, ultra-organized, and comfortable with ambiguity.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to manage up, down, and across.\n\nWillingness to travel regionally, including throughout New York and New Jersey.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and excited about being an entrepreneur and company-builder.\n\nImpeccable integrity and ethical standards.\n\nSelf-aware, accepting, honest, open, and respectful of others.\n\nAbility to manage, train and mentor team members.\n\nEmbody Current PA’s core values: Courage, Partnership, Relentlessness.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience leading integrations or complex cross-functional implementation projects.\n\nFamiliarity with common accounting firm tech stacks (e.g., CCH / Creative Solutions).\n\nChange management or project leadership experience, even if informal.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.\nOur salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
