Whether you join Current or one of our partner firms, you’ll be part of a connected team investing in your development and shaping the future of accounting.\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Director, People Systems & Data Governance leads the transformation of Current’s people systems, data, and processes across a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven organization. This leader owns people data and governance and is accountable for establishing reliable employee data, developing consistent processes across firms, and designing, building, and launching Rippling to replace UKG. Working across Human Capital, Payroll, Finance, Technology, Data, and acquired firms, this role owns implementation outcomes and builds the team, governance, and technology roadmap needed to support Current’s continued growth.\nResponsibilities\nLead the UKG-to-Rippling implementation, including design, data migration, testing, change management, cutover, stabilization, and UKG retirement.\n\nOwn program governance, milestones, risks, budget, vendor performance, executive updates, and cross-functional decisions.\n\nServe as enterprise product owner for Rippling and maintain a multiyear people technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.\n\nHarmonize processes across core HR, payroll, benefits, time, recruiting, onboarding, performance, learning, compensation, workforce planning, and offboarding.\n\nOversee integration architecture and data flows between people systems and enterprise platforms, including data mapping, reconciliation, monitoring, error resolution, and accountability with Technology and Data partners.\n\nLead people systems and data integration for acquired firms, establishing migration standards, validating data, and coordinating transitions.\n\nOwn people data standards, quality, reporting, privacy, access controls, audit readiness, and system documentation.\n\nAutomate employee processes, optimize adjacent platforms, and consolidate overlapping tools to improve efficiency and measurable business value.\n\nDevelop the People Technology team and manage implementation partners, consultants, vendors, contracts, and renewals.\n\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\n10+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, People Technology, HR operations, or enterprise applications; broader enterprise leadership experience for Senior Director.\n\nDemonstrated ownership of a major HCM implementation through launch and optimization.\n\nStrong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and workforce planning.\n\nExperience managing system integrations, data migration, governance, reporting, security controls, and vendors in complex, multi-entity or rapidly growing organizations.\n\nProven people leadership, program management, process design, change management, and executive communication skills.\n\nAbility to travel and support flexible hours during implementations, acquisitions, payroll testing, and critical releases.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on Rippling experience and experience migrating from UKG.\n\nExperience with adjacent compensation, recruiting, learning, analytics, automation, or identity platforms.\n\nExperience in accounting, professional services, private-equity-backed, global, or acquisition-driven organizations.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.\nOur salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
