Manufacturing operations reside in Hendersonville, NC, Plympton, MA, Christiansburg, VA, Acuna, MX and Tijuana, MX.\nJob Description\nThe principle tasks of the Assembly Tester/Packer are as follows:\nAdjust test equipment to meet Engineering specifications on lighting products and performs pretest procedure.\nPerforms wiring and test procedures to insure product meets quality specifications and informs set-up or department supervisor of any deviations in material or equipment.\nInspects and attaches proper labels and stamps personal I.D. to data marker.\nPerforms housekeeping duties as required or assigned.\nMust adhere to all departmental and plant safety rules.\nPerforms rework as required or assigned.\nAssist other operations on line when need occurs and does some assembly operation at test position.\nQualifications\nMust be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, specification book, engineering prints, operation sheets, and bills of materials.\nAssembles cartons/inserts from flat stock, packs finished units (frequently up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 30 lbs.), seals cartons, applies labels and places on skids. \nCompensation\nThe position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.
