This role works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Technical Support, Supply Chain, suppliers, and other engineering teams to resolve product and process issues, maintain product documentation and configuration systems, and support customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide on-site engineering support for existing products, including troubleshooting fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality issues with manufacturing personnel.\nInvestigate product failures, warranty claims, and customer returns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nManage engineering changes, BOMs, drawings, specifications, and related product documentation.\nServe as the product engineering liaison for SAP VC (variant configurator), providing requirements, validating configuration behavior, and ensuring configuration logic accurately reflects product design and manufacturing requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement, value engineering, cost reduction, product reliability, and manufacturability initiatives while maintaining performance and compliance requirements.\nBuild and evaluate prototypes, samples, and product modifications to support manufacturing, project, and customer needs.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with relevant experience in product design or manufacturing support; 2-5 years preferred.\nProficiency with 2D drawings and 3D CAD software.\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to build prototypes and samples, assemble products, and support product installations.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.\nSAP ERP experience is desirable; SAP Variant Configurator is a plus.\nKnowledge of sheet-metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and manufacturing processes is desirable.\nConfigurable product or engineered-to-order experience is a plus.\nCompensation\nThe position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.
