At Curtins, we're an employee-owned engineering consultancy driven by a simple ambition: to create a better built environment for everyone.

For over 65 years, we've delivered practical, innovative and sustainable solutions that make a positive impact on communities across the UK and Ireland. Our Geo-Environmental team plays a key role in this by helping clients understand ground conditions, manage land contamination risks and unlock the development potential of sites safely and sustainably.

As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you'll join a supportive team of geo-environmental specialists who are passionate about understanding the ground beneath our projects. You'll gain hands-on experience in contaminated land assessment, ground investigations, remediation strategies, environmental risk management and foundation-related geotechnical challenges. Working alongside experienced engineers and consultants, you'll develop the technical skills and practical knowledge needed to help deliver safe, sustainable and commercially successful developments.

  • Assessment of ground-related risks including contamination, ground gases and controlled waters.

  • Sustainable redevelopment projects that help bring underutilised land back into beneficial use.

  • Multi-disciplinary projects where you'll collaborate with civil, structural and transport engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
