Ensures that all materials are properly labeled, packaged, and stored in designated areas. Ensures proper handling of sensitive hazardous, or controlled materials in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements. (20%)\nExecutes daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing materials, preparing shipments and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Coordinates with carriers for pick-up and deliveries. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. (20%)\nMaintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and root cause analysis. Investigates and resolves discrepancies related to inventory, shipping and receiving. Recommends process improvements to reduce future discrepancies. Performs a variety of kitting and order functions. (20%)\nIdentifies inefficiencies and recommends improvements to material flow, storage, and handling processes. Assists in implementing standardized work procedures. (20%)\nLifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
