Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.\nYour Challenge\nLead Cross-Functional Teams to ensure all project commitments are satisfied.\n\nDirect ownership of 60% of the business unit's annual P&L\n\nReporting of financial metrics to senior management: Operational Income, Sales, Cashflow, Working Capital, %ROS, etc\n\nCreate, track, assign and distribute various documentation/reports for managing and monitoring the applicable programs, including Sales Plan, Delivery Reports, Project Schedules, etc\n\nEstablish, track, and monitor all project budgets and based upon actual project performance; contingency and/or recovery plans are developed, implemented, and monitored as required.\n\nSupport Sales in request for quotes (RFQ) and/or invitations to bid (ITB), reviews, terms, and conditions (T&C) and project/budget histories.\n\nCustomer interface including scheduling Customer Audits, Surveillance Inspections and providing Project Progress Reports as required.\n\nMeeting annual sales booking targets.\n\nApprove and assign Warranty Projects as necessary.\n\nInteract with Sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the program and future production\n\nPeriodic travel to customer and supplier sites to support program execution and business development activities\n\nTake a proactive stance by developing contingency plans in potential risk areas and identifying contingency plan deployment criteria to resolve potential problems. Report potential problems to upper management.\n\nApprise senior management of all concerns noted in the course of performing daily activities.\n\nRequirements\nUS citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance\n\nFive (5) years’ experience in Program Management and familiarity with Technical/Engineering specifications and procedures.\n\nExcellent communication and writing skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage detailed program budgets\n\nFamiliarity with Earned Value Management Systems and Risk Management\n\nStrong financial acumen and experience reporting financials to senior management\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for a high complexity product line\n\nPrior engineering/operations experience with current experience in program management\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions\n\nStrong customer relationship experience\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse internal and external audiences\n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus\n\nP/C computer skills, with excellence in MS Office including MS Project. Prior mainframe applications and ORACLE ERP knowledge a plus.\n\nMaster of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus\n\nPrior experience with overseeing Navy programs is a plus\n\nNo unsolicited agency submittals please.
