This includes overseeing and leading the production of all TCG products, production quality control, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and field service operations functions. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.\nLocation:\nTewksbury, MA\nYour Challenge:\nAs a member of the TCG Leadership team, contribute to the operational direction for TCG\nOversee and manage assembly and test, supply chain, and quality activities; serve as primary liaison to program management for development and execution of the production strategy\nDevelop and drive production action plans and resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals and objectives\nPrepare and review all manufacturing Basis of Estimate justifications, create master production schedules, and coordinate material planning and production scheduling to include all aspects of producing product through delivery\nResponsible for ensuring archiving and maintenance of all production build and quality records for each product shipped\nWork closely and collaboratively with the Operations team, including development engineering, on problem identification and resolution\nTranslate customer requirements into operations strategies and processes designed to improve cost-effectiveness and profitability\nCoordinate with supply chain on supplier qualification and supplier material non-conformance resolution\nProvide regular reports to Senior Leadership team including scheduling, forecasts, and more\nProvide direction, coaching, and day-to-day leadership to frontline managers and other production personnel; grow, develop, and guide high potential staff members for increased responsibility\nServe as functional manager to a team of 16 employees; responsible for new staff introductory training and ongoing training for all staff as appropriate\nDrive continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities\nEnsure all outbound logistical transitions comply with appropriate regulatory oversight agency\nMaintain compliance status with regulatory requirements\nOther duties as assigned\nYour Expertise:\nAt least 10 years of progressively responsible manufacturing operations experience\nExperience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement\nExperience with continuous improvement techniques (Six Sigma, Kaizen, LEAN) strongly desired\nPrior manufacturing experience of defense related electronics is strongly desired\nProven team leadership skills, including the ability to grow, motivate, and educate staff\nProven experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems with limited resources in a timely manner\nProven experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities\nProposal creation and labor estimating experience\nExperience working diverse contract types, including CPFF, CPIF, FFP, etc. strongly desired\nExperience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigation activities\nExperience using or supporting a Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) system\nExperience with SAP is preferred\nFamiliarity with finance reporting is preferred\nMust be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a small team environment\nAccuracy, attention to detail, and quality orientation is a must\nMust be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with other departments including purchasing, engineering, field service operations, and administration.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nMust be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines\nThis position may require exposure to export-controlled information and subject to additional security screening.
