Immediately report accidents and incidents and participate in their investigations.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\n1-3+ years of software development or related technical experience.\n\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.\n\nAbility to apply software engineering principles to routine development and debugging tasks.\n\nAbility to communicate technical solutions to project management and the rest of the development team. Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technical staff.\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems, software design, debugging tools, and basic testing methodologies.\n\nCommitment to continuous learning and adherence to software development best practices.\n\nExperience with Real Time Operating systems, in particular VxWorks and Linux.\n\nExposure to servo drive applications.\n\nHelp to define requirements for complex naval systems.\n\nCreate functional specifications by decomposing high level requirements into defined capabilities.\n\nDevelop and update Software Requirements Description (SRD), Software Design Descriptions (SDD), and Software Test Plans.\n\nVHDL programming experience for FPGAs would be considered an asset\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
