This includes Commercial, Safety Related, Military, and ASME Code Product.\nInterpret and work within the guideline of drawings, specifications, charts, procedures and other data to determine acceptance or rejection of materials or parts.\nAssist in the review and disposition of non-conforming material and customer returned material or parts, including rework, scrap and return to supplier.\nMaintain accurate and current inspection and/or testing records including Inspection/Test Results and Reports, Traceability Logs, Rejection Reports/Tags, as required by the applicable procedure and/or specification.\nCoordinate and inform other departments of inspection and/or testing status in support of production and shipping goals. \nPerform calibration on inspection/test equipment used to support product acceptance such as, but not limited to variable and attribute gaging, measuring tools, pressure gages and shop floor test stands.\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n3+ years of hands-on industrial and metrology inspection experience. \nKnowledge and experience within the field of Quality (ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T).\nRequired Skills and Abilities: \nKnowledge and experience within the field of Quality (ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T)\nAbility to use inspection equipment; such as: Surface Plate, Height Gage, Comparator, Hand tools, Attribute gages, etc.\nAbility to perform detailed review of documentation/certification to requirements\nAbility to apply visual inspection techniques\nGage calibration knowledge and techniques\nBasic and intermediate shop math\nAbility to read and interpret blue prints\nGD&T knowledge, use and application\nAbility to set up and use a CMM for dimensional detail part inspection; analyze and interpret reports\nSoftware/Computer (i.e. Microsoft applications, Outlook). \nInterpersonal skills and ability to work in and promote a team environment.\nAbility to utilize a CMM for dimensional detail part inspection; analyze and interpret reports.\nAbility to develop and perform semi-complex and complex dimensional detail part inspection.\nIntermediate or advanced math skills in algebra, geometry and trigonometry\nPrevious machinist experience.\nWho We Are\nOur Values\nEnvironmental, Social and Governance\n Curtiss-Wright - Middleburg Heights,is a global supplier of fluid sealing services and technologies, safety-related fasteners, commercial grade fasteners, precision-machined components and electrical interconnections for the power generation industry.
