This includes:\nDelivering innovative, reliable systems that perform under extreme conditions - all while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\n\nLeading integration and test activities\n\nEnsuring compliance with rigorous environmental and safety standards\n\nDebug and test new embedded and system products at the forefront of technology\n\nSupport and enhance existing products\n\nChampion test automation for products\n\nApply established development processes and assist in process improvements\n\nGenerate complete and accurate user and design documentation\n\nContribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products\n\nWhat you Bring:\nProven Product Engineering Experience\n\n- Experience with rugged deployed systems for harsh environments (requirements, design, integration, verification, certification)\n- Development of electronic assemblies optimized for rugged environments and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)\n- Requirements management, traceability, and validation; ability to write clear, formal documentation\nHands-On & Problem-Solving Skills\n\n- Outstanding debug and troubleshooting of rugged computing systems (hardware, firmware, OS level)\n- Proficient across Windows and Linux environments\n- Scripting/automation experience (Python or similar)\n- Cross-disciplinary awareness of electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing impacts\nProfessional Attributes\n\n- Results-driven self-starter who manages multiple priorities in a dynamic environment\n- Exceptional problem-solving, creativity, and engineering judgment\n- Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences\n- Team player who leads by example, takes ownership, holds self accountable, and drives continuous improvement\n- Passion for customer success and team development\nEducation/Experience\n\n- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, Technologist Diploma or equivalent will be considered\n- 8 years systems engineering experience in rugged deployed systems for harsh environments\nWho We Are\nOur Values\nEnvironmental, Social and Governance\nAt our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario, we manufacture rugged products optimized for high-mix, high quality and small batch sizes typical of military requirements.
