Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.\nYour Challenge:\nDevelop and maintain facility layouts, production floor plans, equipment arrangements, and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD software.\nPlan and execute facility projects, ensuring adequate space, utility requirements, electrical loads, HVAC considerations, material flow, safety requirements, and operational efficiency are incorporated into designs.\nDevelop drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, business justifications, and project plans required to execute facility modifications.\nCollaborate with Management, Manufacturing, Test, Operations, Project Management, and Engineering teams to support equipment installation, process improvements, and infrastructure modifications.\nDrive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.\nAnalyze facility constraints and recommend solutions for improving safety, throughput, efficiency, and resource utilization.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, environmental, and safety regulations.\nWhat You Bring:\nRequired\nDue to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person. \nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.\n5+ years of facilities, manufacturing, industrial, or project engineering experience.\nDemonstrated AutoCAD experience with the ability to develop detailed facility and equipment layouts.\nStrong understanding of facility infrastructure including power requirements, utilities, HVAC systems, space planning, and equipment integration.\nExperience leading engineering or facility projects from concept through implementation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, organization, and project management skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities.\nAbility to handle, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to travel through manufacturing and facility environments as required to support projects.\nPreferred\nLean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and/or Six Sigma certification or practical application experience.\nMechanical design experience including equipment, tooling, fixtures, or production systems.\nManufacturing engineering or industrial engineering experience.\nExperience with facility master planning and capacity modeling.\nKnowledge of electrical distribution systems and industrial utility requirements.\nExperience developing proposals, budgets, and capital project justifications.\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.\nExperience in regulated manufacturing or highly technical industrial environments.\nWho We Are\nOur Values\nEnvironmental, Social and Governance\nScientech, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright, is a global provider of commercial power instrumentation, electrical components, specialty hardware, process control systems, and proprietary database solutions aimed at improving safety, plant performance and reliability as well as reducing costs.
